FAW Tier two league formed in 1990
Last season 2019

Craig has a Pro License and is the most successful Manager in Welsh domestic football history. Having won 7 league titles back to back with TNS and well as countless other silverware along the way. Craig then went to Hartlepool in the National League last season before taking the role as Manager at Bangor. Still only young Craig has huge desire and ambition to really kick on in Management and we couldn’t be happier to have him take this club forwards.  Craig was a professional footballer who played in the Premier League with Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace before a horrific injury cut his playing career short.

Cav was previously with Caernarfon Town where he enjoyed success as a first Team coach winning the Cymru Alliance title. He then came to Bangor to and worked with Nigel Barry & Mel Jones in the Academy where they had great success with the U19s and Reserve Teams. Cav is currently enrolled on his A License which he should complete later this year.

Nathan is a new addition to the team. Great knowing and experience. Nathan previously worked with the 1st Team at Southport FC and Everton Ladies.

Alasdair is another new addition to the back room staff. Highly knowledgeable & highly qualified Alasdair is great to have on board. Oversees GPS monitoring, Nutrition, Pre-Activation as well as warm ups and prevention of injuries.

Merv is an absolute Legend! Worth his weight in gold. Qualified physio, Kit Man, Mini Bus driver, Welfare Officer… He does the lot!!! Give up untold amounts of his own time. We simply could not function without this man.

Andy has a wealth of experience in the game having played for 100+ games at National League level. He is also an imposing figure. His previous clubs include Wrexham, Barrow, Southport, Tranmere and most recently Airbus.

Wrexham-born Chris Mullock joined Bangor just before the opening day of this season from WPL Side Aberystwyth Town. Chris has enjoyed success in the Europa League as well as Cup finals and WPL league title success. His previous clubs include Aberystwyth, TNS, Newtown & Cefn Druids.

Lee came to the Club from Bala Town in the WPL. Lee has been one of the best right backs in the WPL over the past 5 years. His energy and quality will be valuable this season. Lee Previously played for Airbus & Bala Town.

Jake comes to the Club on a season-long loan from Connah’s Quay. He is a very talented and quick player that can play in a number of positions. Jake played for Wrexham for a number of years and now works as part of their Academy coaching staff. Jake is one of the fittest members of the squad and will be a vital part of the jigsaw this season.

Sam is a tough tackling no nonsense Central Defender. Barnes is a real leader and was the captain of Colwyn Bay last season. Previously with Liverpool, Stockport County, Marine & Northwich Victoria.

The classy ball playing Central Defender has literally won everything there is to win in Welsh football. Having played and captained TNS to numerous league titles and European success He reads the game brilliantly, good in the air, can win his personal battles and can play 60 yard passed in his sleep. Pip joins the Citizens after a season at Marine in the English system. Pip is going to be brilliant in the dressing room, a true winner and leader, will be vital for the younger members of the squad and still has the drive and ambition to get Bangor back to the WPL.

Andy is a tall & powerful Central Defender. Very good in the air as well as being able to play. Andy comes to us from Newtown where he skippered the side. Prior to that Andy captained a very strong Airbus side. AJ also works full-time at Shrewsbury Town as a key member of the Academy structure.

Stevo comes to the club from Bala Town where he was considered to be one of the best players at the club. He has had a frustrated 12 months with an ACL injury that has kept him on the sidelines. He has looked very impressive throughout pre-season with the work he has been doing. Always keeps himself in top shape and will play a massive part this season.  When at Bala Stevo captained the side. He has an absolute wand of a left foot and delivers a great ball. Previous played for Wrexham & Colwyn Bay. Stevo was also voted the WPL Young Player of the Year a couple of years back.

Field is a tough tackling ball playing midfielder who has captained the side on a number of occasions. Equally comfortable in a 50/50 tackle or spraying a 50 yard pass.  Welsh football fans will know Tom most from his time at Airbus where he scored 25 goals from 96 games and also enjoyed European success. Tom began his career at Everton before going on to play for Vauxhall Motors, AFC Telford, Connah’s Quay, Marine & Stockport County.

Baio is an all action midfielder who can do a bit of everything. Can mix it, play, link up and score goals. He started his career at Sporting Lisbon before signing for Liverpool where he played in very strong U18 & U23 sides. He then went on to sign for Sparta Rotterdam in the Dutch Eerste Divisie. Baio then came to Wales to star in our 2016/17 season squad where we secured a Europa league place. Last season he played for Gibraltar United before returning to Bangor in pre-season.

Gethin has come through our youth system and has regularly captained our U19 side. The 18 year old midfield man was offered his first senior contract with the club at the end of last season and is keen to cement a regular spot in the squad this term. Gethin made a number of performances from the bench last season and will be looking to kick on and get more game time during this coming. Gethin is also an under 18 Welsh Academy International.

Sam is another product of our Academy system. A very strong and powerful lad who is technically very good also. Equally comfortable at the heart of the defence or in midfield. Sam is the U19 Captain and leads by example. Sam previously played for Wrexham, TNS, Caernarfon as well as Wales at youth level.

Sam is a player that Manager Harrison has tried to sign at 2 other clubs before finally arriving here in Bangor. A creative midfield player who can change a game in an instant. Slick in possession, can guide past opponents as well as play killer passes through defences. Sameron was previously at West Bromwich Albion where he spend 10 years.

Jacob is a very creative, lively and exciting player. Can beat players, score and create goals. With an excellent touch and good vision he will be an absolute menace this season. Jacob is also not afraid to put a good shift in either. A player that the Manager knows very well from his time at TNS.

Sam has been a goal machine at every age group he has played in throughout his time in the clubs academy. Scoring over 40 goals last season for the U19s and still only 18 years old.  Sam scores all types of goals, can go both ways and is quick and direct.  He has a very strong character and is determined to make a huge impact this season. Supporters were really made aware of him when he put in a Man of the Match performance against Liverpool U23s at the end of last season.

Les (The Truck) needs no introduction… A Citizen legend & fans favourite! Les has enjoyed many great years in the Bangor blue. Part of the team that won the WPL as well as successive Welsh Cups. Physical big, strong & powerful but can really play too. Excellent at holding the ball up, bringing others in to play as well as being an absolute handful in the air. Great to have in the changing room and in the best shape he has been in for years.

Willow is one of the most intelligent footballers at the club. Technically excellent, sees things that others don’t and can score goals from nothing. He has an excellent record wherever he has been and will be a huge asset to the team this season. A great lad, good around the changing room and works his socks off. Previously Marc played for Wrexham, Colwyn Bay, Chester & Llandudno.

Darlo has won everything  in Welsh domestic football with TNS before signing for Bangor in January. He was a regular in the side that secured second spot in the WPL and played an instrumental role which saw him score and create a number of vital goals. Darlo is technically very good, has great vision and can execute what he sees.

Bossy is a winger who is just as quick with the ball as he is without. He is the type of player that gets fans out of their seats. His electrifying pace and direct play can cause defenders nightmares. Probably the most fouled player we have ever had at the club yet it doesn’t faze him. Bossy is still only 19 years of age and has a very bright future in the game. He is another of our Academy players that has broken in to the squad and is in contention for a starting place.

Robbie is a player that can absolutely terrorise defences. He can go inside as well as out. Score goals, create goals as well as go by players with ease. Robbie is another player that the Gaffer knows very well from his time at TNS. Another of the squad that is a WPL winner. He is still in his early 20s and has massive ambitions in the game. We are looking forward to seeing shine in the number 10 shirt this season.
