Denbigh Town

Jonathon Hill-Dunt – Goalkeeper

John is a Welsh Cup winner with Prestatyn Town, where he gained 11 years experience in the WPL. He has a huge level of professionalism and a leader within the squad. Jon plays a key role on and off the pitch. 

Nathan Williams – Defender

Signed in the 2016/17 season from Gresford Athletic. Previously he came through the Airbus academy as a youth and is now experiencing the Cymru Alliance. Nathan is a strong left back who likes to get forward. He can also play centre back. 

Liam Smith – Defender

 A former Tranmere Rovers junior who joined the club last season. Liam is a defender who remains cool under pressure despite, has great technical abilities and a wide passing range. 

Danny Sullivan - Defender / Midfield

Sully is a versatile player who can operate in midfield or defence. He's highly rated throughout the league having gained experience at Holywell, Buckley, Flint and more recently joining from Caernarfon. Danny brings lot of quality to the team and is sure to be a big success at Denbigh. 

Matthew  Cook – midfield

A former Welsh Under-19 player who joined NEWI Cefn Druids from Chester City in  2005. Sustained a double leg fracture in 2006, ruling him out for almost two seasons. Returned in August 2008 but soon left to join Airbus. After two seasons with the Wingmakers he joined Newtown in 2011. Matt spent five and half successful years with the Robins, captaining the side, before leaving in June 2016 to rejoin Druids. After half a season at The Rock, moved to Denbigh Town in January 2017 where he's become a big figure in the team. His experience is vital and he's a class act on and off the pitch. 

Warren Aykroyd-Duckett – Midfield

In his 5th season with club after joining from Cefn Druids. A gifted footballer who has Welsh Premier experience with Bala Town whilst also having won the Cymru Alliance with Bala Town. Warren is a great character in the changing rooms and a valuable member of the squad

Andrew Swarbrick -  Forward

Swarbs returned to Denbigh in November 2016. A noted goal scorer, he was part of our side that won the Welsh Alliance league in 2013-2014. He has a striker’s instinct for goal and enjoys playing on the last defender. He has previously spent time at Gresford Athletic and Cefn Druids during his career. 

Alun Bull – Forward

Alan joined from Llandudno and is an experienced player who has played in Europe with Bangor. A natural goal scorer with great attitude, Alan has previously played at Bangor, Gap Connahs Quay, Cefn Druids and also has played Cymru Alliance football for Conwy and Holywell.

Jake Eyre  - Forward

Jake signed for Denbigh during the 2016/17 campaign. He is  a talented young player with pace, passion and a keen eye for goal and a professional attitude. He has had previous spells with Airbus and Rhyl and spent time with Sheffield United as a trainee. 

Josh Davies – Forward

Good goal scorer with all the attributes for a complete forward. He’s strong, quick and deadly in front of goal, proving this at all levels. Josh joins from Rhyl and also had spells with Porthmadog and Ruthin. 

Kristian Pierce – Forward

KP is a powerful midfielder who will add quality in the final third. His range of passing and distribution is of the highest standard. His passion for the club will be a great asset to us this season. He delighted the club after returning from Rhyl where he played the 2016/17 season. 


Andrew Stockton - ' Defender 

Stocko' started his career as a youngster in Chester City's Academy, before moving on to ply his trade in the Welsh System, representing Welshpool, Airbus and PenYcae before joining Denbigh for his first stint at the club under Richard Cooke-Williams. A brief spell at Gresford, he then travelled to Sweden to play for Limhamn Bunkeflo, before returning to Denbigh this season. Arguably up there as one of the best left backs in the league, with his pace an asset both in and out of possession

Gareth Partridge - Defender / Midfield

Versitile Player who can play as a Right back or Centre midfield. His energy on the

pitch has been a huge asset to the team, and is extremely professional in the way he conducts himself on and off the pitch. A YTS Scholar at Shrewsbury Town FC before stints in the Welsh Prem for Newtown and Cefn Druids, as well as a USA College Scholarship with Rollins in Florida. 

Craig Pritchard Midfield

A nightmare for defenders in and around the box, his movement, skill and close control makes him a valuable players for the team. An academy player at Chester before joining Airbus for a number of years, before joining Eddie at Gresford and following him to Denbigh

Ben Nash -  Defender

Captain for the 2017/18 season and still only 20. Commands the defence and is an excellent ball winner both in the air and on the deck. Started out as a youngster at Wrexham untill he was 16, then joined Connahs Quay Nomads. Having made his first team debut in the Welsh Premier League, a he joined Buckley and then Gresford on loan, before following manager Eddie Maurice-Jones to Denbigh
