Nathan Leonard – Nathan stepped up to the Player/Manager role last season and an impressive first season culminated in gaining 4th spot in the league. Lenny quietly goes about his work in the middle of the park but is an important member of the club.  Nathan is the son of ex-Shrewsbury Town and Cardiff City defender Carleton Leonard. Lenny rejoined the Guils in the summer of 2012 from Ellesmere Rangers. Nathan is respected in the squad and his leadership will again be important this season.

Bernie Jones – Assistant. Bernie is a highly respected coach. He played for both Welshpool and Caersws in the League Of Wales as a disciplined defender. Bernie is very well regarded in Mid Wales football circles. Bernie is a fitness fanatic who loves seeing the squad suffer!

Lee Andrew – Local lad Lee signed from Llanfair Utd two seasons ago and provided stiff competition for the Number 1 position. Lee comes off his line well and is a good distributor from the back. Lee took over as first choice keeper during 2018 and showed his quality in the Huws Gray Alliance. He also helped our Reserves side win the Village Cup for the first time in the club’s history.

Robbie James – Rob returned to Guilsfield in 2016/17 after securing promotion with Cefn Druids. This is Rob's second spell with the Guils but played only a handful of games in his first stint after a season ending injury. A composed and secure defender, Rob is a important operator at the back for the Guils.

Jack Richards – Jack is a fine left footed defender/midfielder, who enjoys joining in the attack. This is Jack’s 4th season at the club.

Chris Cathrall – Chris is a consistent, combative and super-fit performer who can operate at wing back or defence. This will be Chris’ 7th season at the Guils after a spell with Ellesmere Rangers.  Cats possesses a lethal long throw and has also scored some important goals during his time with the club. Chris will be looking to play further up the field this season and his runs will be a threat for the opposition.

Curtis Weetman – Curtis joined Guilsfield last season after coming through the TNS Academy system. He is a composed defender, who enjoys playing the ball from the back.

Callum Bromley – Callum returned to the Guils in February 2013 after a couple of seasons with Shawbury Utd.  He is a dependable defender , with over 20 appearances last year. Cal is one of the core players who gives consistent performances for the Guils over the years.

Andy Ford –  Andy can play at the centre of the defence or in midfield, so again his flexibility will be vital during the season. A very committed, consistent and combative performer who gives a great deal of bite to the midfield. Fordy is in his 6th season with Guilsfield.

Adam Jenkins – Adam is a nimble forward with good feet. He spent a couple of seasons with Ruthin Town and Caersws  before having a stint of coaching in America. Adam will be looking to continue scoring the goals at Guilsfield.

Stuart Rogers – Stuart came from Porthmadog FC and has also played for Tywyn/Bryncrug and Barmouth & Dyffryn. He is a neat and composed midfielder with good passing ability. He also enjoys getting forward to support the front line. Stuart is well respected by the squad for his commitment to the cause.

Sam Litchfield – Sam is a very solid defender who enjoyed an impressive first season with the Guils in 2016/17 which led to a move to WPL side Newtown. Sam returned to Guilsfield early last season but his campaign was curtailed by injury. Sam is a very important member of the squad who plays with passion and power.

Steve Blenkinsop – Steve has been on Guilsfield’s radar for some time and joins from Caersws. Steve is a hard-working front man who is a fine team player. He has turned out for both Newtown and Cefn Druids in the past. Steve also impresses on the cricket field with Wem CC.

James Parry – 17 year old James arrives to gain experience after going through the TNS academy system. James is a left sided defender who enjoys joining in the attacks down the flanks.
